This effort starts with you.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic system based on the balance of complementary forces of Yin and Yang working together. Let Gesundheit help you on your path to balance.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture assists the body in maintaining good health, or in the case of acute and chronic ailments, by finding its way back to health. This is achieved by stimulating points along meridians with very fine needles to let the body restore itself.

Cupping, herbal supplements, nutritional guidance, and other accessory treatments are often used with acupuncture where appropriate to bolster the healing.

In-person acupuncture sessions with Catherine are currently available at Chicago Family Acupuncture!

Essential Oils

Catherine currently offers appointments that incorporate the use of Aroma Point Therapy, in which she guides you in applying various essential oils to specific locations - acu points - addressing your personal treatment goals. This could be as simple as a combination of oils best suited to relieve general tension in your body, or a more targeted, research-based application for numerous chronic conditions.

These sessions are held online via Zoom, with Catherine, and your essential oils are shipped directly to you. Please reach out to her via the contact page to inquire about one-on-one sessions.

Zero Balancing

New to Catherine's practice is Zero Balancing (ZB). Her student-level ZB treatments (certification in progress)  harness this powerful body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to address the relationship between energy and the structures of the body. In a typical 30 to 45-minute session, finger pressure and gentle traction are used on areas of tension in the bones, joints, and soft tissue to create fulcrums around which the body can relax and realign.

These in-person sessions are currently on hold. Please subscribe to be notified of updates to this offering.
